The Broom Tree Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving women and their families in Central Alberta.
As an extensive community based organization, our mandate is to maintain an enriched environment focused solely on women in need of support & compassion. Together, we have a desire and vision to help support women who have been faced with a variety of obstacles, empowering them to overcome their challenges and achieve their highest potential.
The Broom Tree Foundation started with a vision facilitated by Founder and Executive Director, Donna Abma. Within a short time, Donna’s passion and excitement effortlessly seeped into the hearts and minds of co-founders; Corey Gish, Becky Kooiker, Janis Butcher and Tamara Noordhof. As our story unfolds, the Broom Tree Foundation continues to experience exponential growth as this team continues to build through the many volunteers and employees you see today.
